MANITOU RIVER
North Shore fishing Adventures is now offering trophy brook trout fishing on the famous Manitou River located on breathtaking North Shore of the St-Lawrence River. Our experienced staff will cater to your every whim and strive to make your stay a memorable one. For your maximum enjoyment we limit guests to 10 at a time. The VIP treatment that has made this trophy brook trout fishery a standout in the field for over thirty years is yours to enjoy, today.
All guests arrive by air, touching down close to village of brightly painted two person log cabins designed to provide all the modern amenities: electricity, round-the-clock hot water, shower-equipped bathrooms, carpeting, electric or oil heating, bed linen and towels are provided and of course daily housekeeping service. It is in a friendly atmosphere of the main lodge that guests will have their meals and trade stories around a crackling blaze in the massive fireplace. The main building also houses a TV and music room with a direct satellite feed, as well as a sauna to help you unwind. Every day our professional chef turns out copious, appetizing dishes to tempt the most refined diners, accompanied by the best in fine wines and spirits
Lake Manitou, fed by two smaller streams, flows into the Manitou River, which then widens to form Canot, Brezel and Eudistes lakes. In their cold, clear waters lurk brook trout and artic char of truly enormous size an average of 2 pounds, according to camp catch figures over a 21-year period, the 2001 season had a 3.5 pound average (thanks to catch and release). More than a few visiting fisherman quickly graduate to the "Five Pound Plus Club
